UNN Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) portfolio has expanded to meet growing market demands and now includes geographical redundancy capability to protect customers' data against single site failure, and Windows Servers 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS to its myriad of Operating Systems which already includes CentOS, Ubuntu Linux, and Debian operating systems.
UNN is investing in eco-efficient data centre to meet Brunei's increasing digital needs following the signing of agreement with Vertiv on 08 March 2023 at UNN Tungku Submarine Landing station, a 51,000 square feet data centre complex situated in Kg. Tungku. The prefab data centre is slated to begin construction in April 2023.
01 February 2023 - Unified National Networks Sdn Bhd (UNN) was conferred the Global Business Outlook Award 2022 for Best Telecom Infrastructure Service Provider in Brunei Darussalam during the 8th Annual Global Business Outlook Award Ceremony in January 2023. UNN was also nominated for the Best Digital Transformation Initiatives of 2022.
31 January 2023 - The Cyber Security Portfolio from Unified National Networks Sdn Bhd (UNN) now includes PenTest-as-a-Service (PTaaS) as part of its continuous effort to support the digitalisation of Brunei under Brunei Vision 2035 (Wawasan Brunei 2035).
Today, 15 December 2022, a 1Gbps Fixed Broadband Proof of Concept (PoC) will be launched in a joint effort by the telecommunications industry to transform Brunei into a smart nation, aligning with Brunei’s Wawasan 2035 and Digital Economy Masterplan 2025, and readying Brunei to be a Gigabit society.
