20 August 2023 - In appreciation of its workforce, Unified National Networks Sdn Bhd (UNN) organized a family ‘fun’ day on Sunday, 20 August 2023 at Bridex Hall 2, Jerudong. This was the second time UNN has organized a family event of such scale where more than 1,000 employees and their families participated.
Activities organised for indoors and outdoors for UNN employees and their families to enjoy revolved around this ‘Carnival’ theme and included Inflatable Obstacle Course Bouncer, Nerf Game Arena, Human Claw Machine, TuftBar, E-car rides, Henna painting, face painting, magic show, colouring activity, Zumba, and a series of carnival games like Shoot that Ball, Goblet Ball Toss, Rolling Tyre, Colour Match, Ring Toss, Tip-a-Jug, Knock’em Teeth Out, and Balloon Pop.
A myriad of food and beverage kiosks were set up around the venue catered by local vendors such as Star Anise, Urbn Kitchen, Marvelous BBQ, Alan’s Churros, Fruitime, Ijoi, London Kebab, Pyorr, Top Folk, Brolong, Green Wheel, Stop Lok Go, I Say Yatta, Ideal, Burgergar, Energy Juice, Happy Cream and CO Pais Nyanyat to further enhance the carnival atmosphere at the venue.
UNN family day is more than appreciating and rewarding its employees; it is also organised to promote work-life balance while simultaneously encourage the company culture of teamwork (teambuilding), camaraderie amongst employees and family members, and sense of belonging within the organisation.
“These are in part the UNN culture where we create a positive environment, one that nurtures inter-department networking to build familiarity and trust amongst one another within the organisation,” said UNN Head of Employee Safety and Wellness, Mohamad Khairil Fadlillah Said.
The first UNN family day hosted more than 1,200 UNN employees and their family members at Jerudong Park Playground on 10 April 2021 where both the playground and waterpark were closed to the public, providing privacy for everyone who attended to enjoy the rides and attractions that day.
